Janice's Story
In 1972, my husband and I moved from Orlando to Los Angeles, Portland, Oregon, Seattle, Memphis and then spent seven years in Atlanta. During the time in Atlanta, volunteering in my son's elementary school evolved into becoming a member of staff as a paraprofessional in kindergarten/first grade classrooms . . . the beginning of a new joy and passion which continued in Volusia County schools when my husband started a business in Ormond Beach. anta and continued as such when we returned to Florida. These days of increased discretionary time, I've combined photography and the long time love of beach walking with time spent with good friends and volunteering
at the church I attend to keep a smile on this still freckled face. ( My tennis game has evolved, as well, from a seriously competitive one to more of a
'hit and giggle' game with former team mates.)
I think so often of my years at OHS and the wonderful friends and days that I knew there . . .
