Janice Oster:  

I am a very simple person. Over my 68 years I have worked about 50 of those. Most of my career I have gone from clerical help to managing up to 5 people in an customer service/administrative environment. Even worked for a well established investment firm while living in the city of Chicago. I really enjoyed working with people. I like working my little part time job at Goodwill even though I am retired. I see all different types of people shopping through out our store. Occasionally makes me sad but also makes me happy to give someone an occasional bargain when in need. I currently live on my own but have lived with my children to help each other with expenses in the past. Both my children are in their 40’s and on their own now. I have 4 super grand-girls ranging in age from 15-19 which I am so proud of because of their accomplishments. I was a single parent raising my children which was a bit difficult but brought them up on the simple principles of life; morals, ethics, beliefs, ideals & of course, standards. Both my parents have passed as well as a younger brother. Miss them dearly. I have a sister that I do a lot with and although she has Multiple Sclerosis, she’s still so very independent.
