Janine's Story
Life
I was Janine Villa in High School, got married to Rob Leech in 1980, got divorced in 1985. We had no kids so I gave him back his name, along with his life. Years down the road, I kept my maiden name, but Bruce Lewis (Originally from Hermiston, Oregon) and I welcomed our first born daughter Joanna Nicole on February 12, 1988. Then Kyle Robert, born May 9, 1989 and our baby Sarah Ann, born June 2, 1991.
Joanna graduated in June 2006. She is going to DVC and works 2 jobs.Joanna was a Hercules Explorer for the Hercules Police Department and ranked sargeant her last year in 2007. She won an essay which lead her to a trip to Quanico, Virginia at the FBI academy and Hogans Alley. She also ranked third in Top Gun shooting in the Bay area. My son Kyle is a freshman at The California Merritime Academy.He is also VP of his class. He wants to be a Mechanical Engineer. They hired him on at C&H where he is doing his internship. Im so proud of him. He was on the Varsity Football Team at John Swett in his senior year 2007.He played linebacker & offensive line. ughter Sarah is 17 years old, a senior at John Swett High School. She loves school..she was nominated for Homecoming Queen, she didnt win, but she enjoyed the experience of being in the court, participating in creating the Senior float, and the spirit rallies. She played soccer all 4 years and she is a catcher for js Softball. She loves softball and loves being catcher. She played softball all 4 years also. She will be graduating June 2009!I am so proud of my kids!
I have a brother, Joe who is 2 years younger than me, a sister, Linda who is one year older than me, and a sister Cindy who is 3 years younger than me. We are all close..My paarents passed away...mom in 2005 and dad in 2007. They raised us right..with morals and love, patience and understanding. They have 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandkids. M
My sisters and I see each other every day. My brother moved to Blythe with his new family where he works at a Power plant there. I live at the house where my father grew up in. He lived there when he was 7 years old. Infact my father also graduated from John Swett. The Villa home will remain in the Villa Family..It's all about FAMILY!
