Janis's Story
After graduation and a year or two of not knowing what I wanted to do, I joined the Air Force in 72. Got married in 74. Went to Europe for three years with the military and my husband.
Came back to the states in 77 to Washington DC Stationed at the Pentagon. In 1980 decided to start a family. My first daughter was born. She is now 29. In 1982 with the birth of my second daughter I left the military for full time motherhood and part tim...Expand for more

In 1986 we moved to Melbourne Florida, due to my husbands transfer to Patrick AFB. Graduated from Rollins College on the GI bill. Started working for non-profits and have continued with this profession through today.
Lost my husband suddenly in 2001 to a stroke. Still living in Melbourne and enjoying my 5 year old grand daughter and two year old grandson. Decided to semi retire in July 2014.
