Janis's Story
It's been a strange, wonderful life. Most of my life spent working for magazines and newspapers (what else would an ex-outstanding girl in journalism do?) Have lived from coast to coast and even the Caribbean for a couple of stints.
Married a wonderful man with a wonderful story of his own. He passed away about four-years ago. Now I'm just an old lady with cats.
Living in Kansas now, but shortly will be moving back to Florida. Maybe I'll be around for our next reunion.... 50th? Could it be possible? I'm still young -- in my mind!

o be picked for team sports. The only reason I ever passed phys ed was that I could pass all the tests.
I was a "bug" (yeah, I know, panther -- but who but us called us that?) and in the "9" section from the time the school opened.
Teachers I fondly remember: Colonel Piper, the only man alive who could make Silas Mariner come to life and have relevance. Mrs. Dinn - for her high standards. Mrs. Cunningham who swore if she ever taught me to type, she could teach a monkey. There are others -- some good and some not so good.
Let me hear from you -- especially if you remember that kinda weird chick who didn't exactly fit in.
