Janis's Story
After graduation, my family moved to San Diego,Ca. I had been accepted at Penn State but moved & went to work until the following year, when I went to SD State.
Then I eloped with a sailor who was getting out of the Navy & going home to Tn. We had 2 kids& divorced, so after 5 yrs I was back in SD. I went to work at the dept. of probation & remarried 2 yrs later. That lasted 8 yrs & then I went back to school ...Expand for more
to get an assoc. in electronics.
Having kids & going back to school seem like the beginning of my life! Then I went to work at a naval base doing repair on components of ships & aircraft. Since receiving an early retirement, I've moved to be a full-time Nana to my daughter's 2 children (my son has 3).I love to play games online & have a poem published on-line, it's lyrics, actually & has been put to music!
