Janis Utz:  

Life Graduate of UC Santa Barbara. Secondary Teaching Credential and Masters from CSULB. Reading Specialist, 8 years - Anaheim High School. 1970 married Travis Mayfield, class of '65. Divorced '73, but we remain close friends. 1974 married James Utz of Sherman Oaks. We met on Chapman College World Campus Afloat. We had 2 beautiful daughters, Erica & Jamie. We lost Jim in 1991. I raised the girls as a single Mom and have remained single. Works for me. Left teaching to work with my father in the family business. Sold industrial cleaning chemicals to various industries for the last 27 years. My sister Elaine, class of '69 left Pharmacy 20 years ago to join the business. We now run the business, located in Paramount, together. I have been lucky enough to convince my 2 daughters to finally give the family business a try.
