Life Edited 6-20-2022 Am married to my second husband, Lester, for 28 years. He is now retired HVAC tech for the Colo School of Mines. I have been mostly a professional volunteer all my life and owned, over the years, 15 horses, including a half zebra/half horse. As a 4-H leader, I taught riding, care, & showing, to three clubs. Myself, I’ve broke and trained several horses, been a riding club queen, have two walls full of ribbons and trophies for showing, barrel racing, parading, gymkhana; Wrote and illustrated a trail book for horse riders along the Denver Front Range in the late 1980’s. Sold 5000 copies through places such as Tattered Cover and Pierson Graphics. Have been a member of the Buffalo Bill Saddle Club for over 46 years and a member of the Lakewood Riding Club for about 30. I consider myself a Jack of all trades as I like photography, do crochet and cross-stitich, Native American beadwork, sewing, leather tooling, etc etc. Currently don't have any horses as I rode for 50 years...I think that's probably enough. Had breast cancer in 2004 and am in remission. We bought a 1980 motorhome, which we restored... but prefer truck and camper over the motorhome. My son (only child) will be 55 th...Expand for more
