I lived in Portland for 10 years and was involved in the commercial Insurance industry. Married for 10 years with 2 boys. Came back to Toledo when I had my 2nd child, I did not want to raise them in Portland. My youngest was born with heart defects. This was a huge challenge for us all. He is 22 and still has medical problems - the miracle is he is alive! I love Toledo - I feel so safe and it feels like we are all family. I love knowing just about everyone. I spent many years working for the State Senior Services. My mother and I attempted two small businesses here, a gift shop and Curves for Women, neither successful. There is not enough 'business" in Toledo unless it is a disposable product. We had a great time though, we loved providing new things for the people in Toledo.
