Jason's Story
Life
Divorced but in a committed relationship. Was married for 13 years but she left due to my job travel schedule. After the divorce I upgraded to a newer model! She is a defense industry analyst that I met through work and we've been together over 4 years now. She's fantastic and we are very happy together! And since she's in the industry, she better understands the travel requirements.
My Kid
My daughter's name is Kaitlyn and she's the light of my life. She's a very gifted middle school student that is talented and beautiful. I am a non-custodial Dad that's VERY involved in her life and I chose to go into my own business to better control my schedule for more time with her.
My Job
Pretty unique...I was in engineering, then program management, and later, marketing for one of the defense industry giants (military ammunition and weapons) for 20 years. I recently left to become an industry consultant on my own. Greatest move I ever made! Control my...Expand for more
own schedule, pick and choose my jobs, and the money is infinitely better.
Been living (or more accurately, based) in central FL for past 23 years. Have traveled most of the world in my job though not always to places most people want to visit (war zones). I've seen most all of Europe, north Africa, most of the Middle East, parts of the Orient and South America. I've always enjoyed the travel and it really changes your view of your own country, and how we fit in the global community.
Interests
Still very into music. My primary hobbies are guitar, home recording, and attending concerts. My daughter and GF are both very into music and we see live music concerts almost every weekend. My daughter has taken up guitar and has an awesome voice so we are building a home studio to let her further experiment. My musical tastes haven't changed much over the years as I'm still very into alternative and hard rock genres. I guess that part of me never grows up.
