Jason's Story

Life I spent my elementary years in Rocklin,Ca at Rocklin elementary. I had my step fathers last name then, and went by Jason Annis. I spent most of my highschool years in So Cal. Fresman year I was at Eldorado High in Placentia,CA and The rest of my highschool years at Norwalk high in Norwalk,CA. At 19 I went into the U.S Army where I spent 7 years on active duty. My first 4 years were at Schofield Barracks Hawaii. At this time I had changed my last name to my biological name of Jason Culver. From there I went to Ft. Eustis ,Va for about 9 months, then transfered to Ft. Campbell,Ky where I spent the remainder of my active duty. I went to Desert Storm with the 101st Airborne Div, and spent about 7 months over there before returning home to my wife karen, and daughter jaimee, who was just 6 months old when I left. When I returned from the Desert I made the decision to leave active duty with an honorable discharge, and try my luck in the real world. I moved to Missouri where Karen is from, and joined the Army reserves, and took a job ...Expand for more
at the local elementary school working in maintenance, while karen continued going to college. Shortly after taking the job at the school I took the Postal exam, and was hired on as a letter carrier. I carried mail for about 10 years, then went into management where I have been ever since. Karen finished college with her Masters plus 15 hours and is teaching at a local elementary school. At this time we have been married almost 17 years, and have 3 children. Jaimee is now 15 almost 16, Jenna is 12, and Kurtis is 6. I myself will be turning the big 40 in January 06'. My interests include Footbal,Hockey, skiing, and spending a lot of time customizing and riding my 1999 Harley-Davidson Night train. Karen and I have come a long way over the years, from being very poor, to now living a very comfortable lifestyle. It's amazing all the little twists and turns in the road that life leads us down. If only we could have had all this knowledge while growing up. Any way that's my life in a nut shell, I wish eveyone out there the best in life.
