Jason's Story

Life To make a long "What I did after High School" story short, here is a summary of the past 15 years or so of my life: June 1989: Graduated from Humanities 89-90: Went to film school at NYU(not Tisch, but the more hands on School of Continuing Education film program. 90-91:Worked for 1 year at WaltDisneyWorld in Orlando, Florida. 91-92:Worked in New York to save for studying Japanese in Japan. 92-95:Lived in Japan/Took an intensive Japanese Language Course while working various jobs to support myself/Before leaving, walked the entire length of Japan with 2 friends for fun and for 3 different charities. 95-97:Lived in South Korea/Took an intensive Korean Language Course while working various jobs to support myself/On June 5th, 1997:got married to Mikiko of Nagoya, Japan. S.* and ended up in Hawaii. 97-99: Enjoyed life in Hawaii while saving up for world trip. 99-00: Traveled for over 1 year around the South Pacific and Asia(money ran out before we could see every country in the world). April 01 to September 01: Worked for U.S. Airways as a Flight Attendant(based in Philly). Laid off due to 9-11. Oct. 01 to Feb. 02:Moved back to New York. Job situation in NYC was not so good, but was lucky to get a job as Guest Service Agent at Madison Square Garden. 02-04: Moved back to Japan/Taught English at a Kindergarten near Nagoya, Japan. 04-Present: Back in New York now/Working at the front desk of the Hilton New York(which is right across the street from the Ziegfeld Movie Theater where I worked at when we were all going to Humanities). *by greyhound bus Hope to see you at the reunion in Fall 2005!
