Jason's Story
20 years screamed by didn't they. I left Elma joining the Army fall of '88. Spent eight and a half years bouncing around the world (best job a guy could have). I left the military in '97. Worked in aviation and telecomunications until 9/11. I had a few hard years due to the impact on both industries. Worked commercial/residential hot water heating, boat mechanic, snowcat driving/ back country snowboarding guide, manufacturing software implementation, classic muscle car restoration, and even pizza delivery to get by. few months. Transferred for a year to Afghanistan, then transferred to Germany where I presently live. I was married and divorced but had no kids between getting out of the military and going to Afghanistan. I work as quality control/ senior mechanic on a fleet of eleven Cessna Citation business jets and Beechcraft Kingair aircraft. Oh yeah, I still have a motorcycle.... but it goes just a little faster than the one I had in Elma ;o) I can't wait to get in touch with you all again. Even if you don't make it back to the reunion. For some of us, we may be all we have... if that makes any sense.
