Jason's Story
Life
I went to Ferris State after high school and graduated with an Accounting & Finance degree.
While waiting for the perfect job I started managing a movie theatre I used to work part-time in during breaks. Although the pay was terrible, I loved the job and kept with it. Once I decided to move out of state things moved very quickly for me. I don't think I stayed in the same position for more than 8 months in a four year period. While in Chicago (which I loved)I was part of a training team that sent me all over the country to open new theatres.
I met my wife in Milwaukee when we were both opening a theatre there. She was living in Boston at the time working for the home office. We did the long distance thing for a while until I moved to Boston to open a new theatre down the street from Fe...Expand for more
nway Park. I wasn't thrilled with living in Boston so I wasn't too upset when our company was sold and we were told either my wife or I would have to leave the new company. Since my wife could work from anywhere being a traveling auditor, we decided I'd leave and we'd move back to Michigan.
I'm now working as Project Manager for CPS, Inc. I work downtown Detroit. While many of you don't think that's a good thing, I'm loving the changes I've seen in the last five years. I was born here so I take a little more pride in the area. Things are happening and I'm glad I could be a part of it.
We live in the suburbs of Detroit now with the best neighbors you could ask for and plenty of family nearby We have a daughter that we brought home on Christmas day 2003. Truely the best gift I ever received.
