Jason's Story
Life
I've had a wild ride since High School. Spent 2 years at Kirkwood then 5 at the University of Iowa studying Communication Studies and Religion. I've been married since 1998 and have no children as of yet. I spent my first 10 years out of school working as a radio DJ for Clear Channel and working for various wireless phone companies. In 2001 I fell into managing a group of create-your-own teddy bear stores which I purchased in 2004. Now I own a group of 9 stores and we're averaging opening a new store every 3 months. efinitely not what I expected myself to do but I'm a lot farther along than I thought I'd be at 30.
College
College lasted for 7 years, not bad for a BA, lol. Grew up a lot, lost a lot of weight, discovered working out and many other wonderful things.
Workplace
I worked as a radio dj for Clear Channel almost immediately after leaving high school. I did this until I moved to Des Moines to run my current retail stores. I'm probably moving again soon to either Dallas or Minneapolis to run new stores we're opening there.
