Jason Alaimo:

CLASS OF 1997
El paso, TX

Jason's Story

Life Hello all of you out there. It has been awhile now hasn't it. Going on almost 10 years now. How have you all been doing? Me, I'm doing well. Where should I begin my story? I guess the most appropriate place would be graduation 1997. I left El Paso for Austin to attend the University of Texas where I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Biology in 2002. During that time I rowed on the crew team for a year. I also worked at one of the local Banana Republic where I not only accumulated an entirely new and fashionable wardrobe, but a new and fashionable debt as well. My second endeavor was as a Physical Therapy technician working in Outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine. It was here that I chose my lot in life. I worked as a tech for 3 years in and out of school, until I was accepted to the Physical Therapy program at Texas State University at San Marcos (formerly Southwest Texas State). I graduated from the PT program in May of 2006 (so just recently) earning my Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. And after all this schooling, you think I would be tired of being in a classroom right, WRONG! I am currently enrolled in a continuing...Expand for more
education class which will earn me my Fellowship in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, in 3 years time if all goes as planned. So where does that leave me now? Well, I am currently single and living alone in a one bedroom apartment between Austin and Round Rock. I have no pets because I am never home and that would not be fair to them. I am working as a Physical Therapist for HealthSouth Sports Medicine and Outpatient Orthopedics. The times that I am not working for the greater good, I like the night life of Austin, Warehouse District not 6th Street. I like to cycle ("Go Lance!") and can be found on the weekends roaming the many desolate roads of the Texas Hill Country. I still love to watch movies either in home or at the theater. I try to catch as many concerts I can, and when I have the time, I love to cook. One of my specialties is Tiramisu. So, if that was more than you were bargaining for, I apologize. Oh there is more, I'm just trying to keep it PG! For those who want to keep in touch I can be reached at 512,699,5877. So, 'til the next we talk, take care of one another and your own-self and maybe I'll be seeing you real soon. J.
