Life Where am I? I moved back to CA shortly after graduation. I currently live in Placerville, CA where my wife and I bought a house 9-2001. Living in the Sierra Foothills is great. Air is clean, people are friendly and we have pretty much everything a person could need; or it's just a short drive away. Career? I work for KLA-Tencor (KLAC) as a Hardware Design Engineer, which is just another term for glorified hardware guru. I worked for them from 9-98 until I was laid off 2-02. I was hired back shortly after as a contractor 5-02, let go again in 7-02. Was re-hired *again* in 10-02 and am still there as of 2-03. I call it the "rubber-band employment plan". The amount of driving I do (600+ miles a week) and being away from home all week long is a little annoying, but the pay is excellent and the job market is tight.
