Life
Virginia Tech graduate in Biolgy and Chemistry. I'm currently a career Paramedic/Fire Fighter at the rank of Captain with the City of Hampton working on my master's degree. It's great when your employer pays for travel, school and just about everything else! I'm a bureau head in charge of Medical Operations. The job lends itself to a lot of opportunities and excitement. It must be the adrenaline rush! I've been fortunate enough to be a member of the dive team and most recently, a tactical paramedic on the SWAT team. ion Local 2450 and serve the state and International organizations. The best thing about that position is the travel it provides. I teach various fire and EMS classes and have recently become an adjunct professor with TCC. Never thought I'd say that. Nothing wrong with exploring a little, I suppose. Still unsure where I will eventually end up career-wise...but aren't we all...I guess that may be argued as well. That damned elusive medical school. :)
I'm currently married and have two children, Bryson (2 1/2) and Analei (3 weeks) as of August of 2007. Another statement I never thought I'd say.
