A friendly hello to all my friends, classmates, and relatives out there. I'm quite certain most of you don't remember me from High School. I used to keep to myself as was sorta shy. I tried to mingle, but somehow ended up mingling with the wrong crowd. I tried taking a sport in order to expose myself and make a statement. Yep, I made a statement alright. I sucked at Track. The coach was nice to me though. I had the "will" but no speed. When I saw how some of the guys stretched out before the run, I was amazed at how stiff I was. Needless to say, I ran or maybe I should restate that, ...I took a couple of steps running alongside another runner by the name of Santos. Man, did he have the legs and the speed. I believe I took four steps and when I looked up, he was at the finish line. WTH?! Nope, track was not for me. Juan Mancha was good at running, as was my cousin, David Zavala.
