Jay's Story
From Stevens, went to School of Mines for 1 year then got my USAF scholarship and headed south to the University of Arizona. 5 years later a Mechanical Engineering degree......a short stint as a cheerleading instructor/director for a national company. NOT for me, so off to the USAF. F-15 pilot for my 20-year career. Returned back to Tucson before heading to Saudi Arabia as an F-15 instruction for 2 years. y second wife- Harriet, a Nurse Practitioner and then 5 years of cruising the Sea of Cortez in our 41 foot trawler with our Standard Poodle. Bought a place in San Carlos, Mexico and here we are!!
Good friends from R.C.- Duane Bunkowske and his wife Jill (Bower). Played legion baseball with Dave Collins, Bill Ewing, Duane, and others. Lived on Central Blvd- just off Jackson Blvd. Was on the tumbling team.
