Hi everyone,
I found classmates on a lark - clicked a link and suddenly we're back again in home room. How Bizarre! Readers' Digest version of catch-up: Following graduation I became Music Director at "WINE" while commuting to college in Westchester for a few semesters, then did White St U for a couple of years and programmed WXCI. I worked around CT radio for a few years , even auditioned for Charlie Parker at WDRC (didn't get the gig!). Joined local (Ridgefield) upstart CD distribution company CD One Stop in 1985. Left there in '96 as VP of Sales when faced with consolidation and a move to FL; got recruited to a similar but smaller outfit in Alb...Expand for more
any, NY, and eventually got recruited to Wind-Up Records in NYC as Marketing Director - my first day on the job was 9/10/2001. [BTW - I'd be interested to know if we lost anyone from our class on 9/11. I'm sure many have stories to tell, as do I]. In 2003 an old friend of mine who was running a cluster of small radio stations in the Northeast enticed me back into radio. Today I live and work in the Northern Catskills ski country. I am Vice President and General Manager of WRIP-FM, . I just finished a three year run as president of the Rotary Club. Small town life is where it's at!
