Jay's Story

After high school, I attended Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, then Hofstra and NYU Law Schools. Following law school I moved down to Washington, DC to clerk for a federal judge at the United States Tax Court, and right about the time of our 10th reunion I moved back to New York City to start a job at a Wall Street law firm. I have been married since April '07 to a wonderful woman, Michaele, who has her doctorate in biomedical engineering. I live and work as a corporate tax attorney in Manhattan and spend a lot of time in Washington, DC as well. I love to get away to the Shore in my free time (whenever that is). No kids yet. No pets yet. Working on both. My interests include cooking, entertaining, wine, art and desi...Expand for more
gn, traveling, and live music. I also make killer margaritas in copious quantities. I would love to see Mr. Drzal, Mr. McGar, Ms. Rotella, and Ms. Neske again. I am sad that I won't get the chance to tell Mr. Martinsen and Ms. McCarthy how much they meant to me. I hope old friends remember me as big-hearted and fun, and I hope I haven't changed in that regard. If I had to do it over again, I would have been less competitive and headstrong in high school and taken more time to smell the roses and hang out with different people. I wish I had kept in touch with more people too. I still see Larry McCourt, Cindy Sack, and Chris Cangiano fairly regularly, but that's about it. Feel free to email me at jgeiger at cahill.com
