Jay's Story
Life
Pam and I were married in April 2005. Pam went to Carter High. Graduated in '69. Her maiden name was, believe it or not, Pam Howard. And NO, we weren't related, HA HA.I have known Pam since elementery school. I have one child, son Jason, 29 years old.
I worked for 27 years with Ford Motor Co., their corporate office in the Ford Financial/Ford Credit Division as an Operations Manager in charge of Dealer Relations/Services & Sales until 2002. I left Ford and joined Professional Insurance Resources as a Vice President. PIR was a fast growing commercial insurance company which Pam owned and still does. ned out really good for the both of us since we ended up getting married.
We moved the main operations of PIR to Pagosa Springs, Colorado in 2006. We now live in Pagosa Springs.
Living in Colorado was always a dream of mine and my wife's. Fortunately we were able to move the main operations of the business to Colorado with no problems. It is great here. (except for the amount of snow we got last winter) Seems like we live right in the middle of nature and all kinds of wildlife. I guess we actually do.
I hope everyone out there is doing great, even with the crappy economy. It has been really good to hear from a lot of you. If you are in Colorado and any where near Pagosa Springs, be sure to look us up.
