Jay's Story

Life Entered the USMC July of 67 was in Vietnam 67 /68 I was wounded three times and spent one month in a Naval Hospital in Japan and 7 months at Chelsea Naval Hospital in MA. I was retired from the Marines because of my wounds. I then tried to have a normal life and went back into the printing business and law enforcement where I was working while going to school. FW and currently the Commander of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 696 of Lee County and Finance Officer of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 128 Bonita Springs, FL. I just finished a very long year as State Commander for the Military Order of the Purple Heart and because of the War going on did many memorial services and visited with wounded returnees. I still manage to take off on my Victory but not every day. I'm now the Commander of nothing and really enjoy myself!!!!
