Jay's Story
Life
Graduated from Temple University(spent first two years at Ambler Campus)in 1971 with degree in Business Administration. Enlisted in Air Force after graduation and went right to Officer Training School. Was assigned to Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring, Texas in 1972 for Pilot Training. Received pilot's wings in 1973 and also married. Met my wife in Big Spring when she came to visit her cousin who happened to be married to one of my classmates. Became instructor pilot in T-37's at Webb, bought a house in Big Spring and had our first child, a boy, in 1975.
Reassigned to Mcguire AFB in 1977 and left Air Force. Moved to Long Island and joined Citicorp...Expand for more
in NYC. Joined executive search firm in 1980 and my partner and I started our own computer consulting firm in 1985. Had two more boys in 1978 and 1981. Older two boys graduated college in 1997 and 2000 respectively. Youngest is now a senior (All at the University of Scranton).
Have moved twice, still living on Long Island, still happily married. Oldest son married a Philadelphia girl and also lives on Long Island. Middle son's girlfriend also a Philly girl (Just can't get away from it).
I really miss those cheesesteaks, scrapple and soft pretzels with mustard. Still root for the Phillies and Eagles. Looking forward to hearing from old friends.
