ralics gang working in the elevator rooms and aft steering. With luck Stein needed office help and I was called to fill the spot.
Worked with a couple of good guys Larry Freshcorn and Bill Sewell there in the office along with ensign Seibers.Had a couple other guys there also but their names escape me after 42 years. Oh yeah there was a Collins and a tough ole master chief that was promoted to Lieutenant. There were a couple others in and out but the names escape me.
Got out in July of 61 at Mayport, Fla.and returned to home in South Bend , Ind. The naval experience was interesting and I think rewarding.
