Jay's Story
After high school I went to Ball State where I got my degree in Business Administration. When I graduated I took a position at Indianapolis Morris Plan/Firstmark Financial where worked as an internal auditor for 3 years then as an accountant for 2 years.
While at Morris Plan I met my future wife Jody who was also employed there as an auditor. I took the accountant position after we were married to avoid business conflict and stayed another 2 years before taking a marketing analyst job for Knauf Insulation which is headquarted in Shelbyville, IN.

ed an additional production plant near Atlanta and another in northern CA while retaining our corporate office in Shelbyville. Eventually we added several distribution warehouses around the US and expanded our fiberglass insulation production into several European countries and also into Russia. Recently I took early retirement from Knauf but I'm not sure if I want to stay retired. I feel much too young for that!
My son Jeff is a banker in Broad Ripple and my daughter Jessica recently moved to Alameda, CA where she works at Office Max. After 29 years of marriage my wife Jody passed away in 2006. Being a bachelor again is a strange new life for me and I hope to remarry someday if I find the perfect lady again.
