Jay's Story
Life
Live in an old mining and logging town called Selleck, in the Cascade foothills. Wife, Teresa, Courtney 25, Jacob 23, Ivyann 18 and Conner 15. I am a Leadperson at Northwest Metal Prod.(NorWesCo) in Puyallup. Still love VW's(we have 4) ,also 4x4's, hunting, camping, whitewater rafting, sandrails
and Desert Racing (Dirtbikes&Quads)Still love LOUD rock and roll. Heavy Metal is the best. Kinda stuck in the 80's but like the new
bands just as well. Avenged Sevenfold and Buckcherry most recently. My perfect day is riding in the sand or dirt all day, then
having drinks till the wee hours of the morning. I am a volunteer
Firefighter/EMT with King County Fire District 47 since 2000.
Teresa, Courtney and Ivyann love to ride horses and are all involved with the Rein'N Rowdies Mounted Drill Team. Jake does underground utility work and runs heavy equipment. Conner is into Lawnmower Racing. Please drop me a line and say HI! Would love to hear from the old gang from school. Just found out I'm going to be a Grandpa! HOORAY!!! Courtney and her husband Matt are expecting in July. UPDATE!

school, HOORAY!! Only 1 left to go. Conner and I are trying our hand at Flatrack racing today at Rainer Bowl in Rainer, Wa. I'm riding my XR600 and he's riding an LT250 quad that used to be a flatrack racer. Bought tickets to go see MOTLEY CRUE at CRUE FEST 2 at white river amphitheater 7/27. Anyone going too? I never thought back in 78 that I would be having this much fun at 49! Hope to post pics soon!
7/23/09 Both good and bad news. Conner and I didn't get to race in Ranier. Rain was a factor and I didn't want to crash and burn so we will try at next race. My grandson Wyatt was born at 4AM on July 1st. Teresa and I are thrilled!
The Rein'n Rowdy's took 6th place overall at the state drill team finals 7/16-7/19! Good job ladies!
Sad note: after a short battle with Dementia (3 months) My mom, Shilene, suffered a stroke and sadly, passed away on 7/20. She was 92. Please say a prayer for her. I will miss her horribly but she is with my dad again and that is what she has wanted since his passing in 1981. She had perfect health all her life and I'm glad she didn't have a long illness. Goodbye Mom. Thanks for listening everybody.
