Jay's Story
I graduated in june 1970. What a great day, but no one could have told me about the future. I went the the Sawyer Business College in Van Nuys to be a Legal Secretary. Upon the completion of the program, the school found me work. I realized that this was not my forte! So after working the the Kelly Girl Temporary in the Valley, I got hired at Hewlett Packard, and worked in Account Payable and Receivable. ughter, Jennifer, then I started taking classes. By the time all 3 of my daughters were in school full time, I went back to school and work to become a nurse. I have worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant, then to a LVN, and in 1994 I became a Registered Nurse. I work at Mercy Hospital Folsom in Labor and Delivery and take care of sick babies, well babies and do the whole postpartum thing. Yes, I have gone on trasnports as well. I do needlepoint, read, drink lots of wonderful wine, and go the gym several days a week.
