Jay's Story

Hi to all. After college life, I decided to spend a few years recovering from all the years of schooling, pursuing my real passion of surfing via playing pirate on a sailboat. After 5 years of a tropical aquatic journey, it became time to settle in a bit, raise a family, and get a real job. Little did I know what this all entailed but it became very evident real quick that it all revolved around that word of responsibility. With our now young adults pursuing successful careers on their own, it became time for ol dad and mom to check out of the land-o-lightspeed and put that part of our lives astern. After selling the ol biz, retirement became our claim to fame. Not being of Warren Buffett or Jimmy Buffetts financial stature, it was plain as day that a third world country could fit us just fine in our financial world. The sojourn to Costa Rica was an obvious move for us and we have been enjoying the dance in 3/4 time for almost five years now. For now its home, but one never can tell when its time to weigh anchor for another distant port in search of another adventure in paradise. Thank you Gardner MacKay.
