Jay's Story
My wife, Denise, and I live in Gloucester in a house we built on Back Creek just off the North River. I went to Christopher Newport University on their 7 1/2 year plan and majored in Theatre Performance...and don't use it much anymore. Denise and I had our first child on April 14th of '08....a boy, named Van Jaxson Hutchins (please, for a cuteness fix, see his pictures I posted on Facebook! You'll die!) lbs.com), and I fill-in for sick or vacationing DJs on WXGM 99.1FM here in town. I'm also the President of the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce. I decided to register for this site when my Dad's death in April of '04 got me to thinking about mortality and making sure that 1) friends stay friends. 2) old friends know you remember them. 3) people that you cared for know that you're still there and 4) old acquaintances can be your new friends! I'm in the process of reconnecting with some old friends, but I'd love to hear from anyone that wants to say HEY.
