sten with headphones or near field monitors bought on a budget i might add if i wanted a microscope i would buy one i am not out to analyze my music take it apart i am out to replicate the sound i am accustomed to the live sound of any venue either a lone piano in a room or a rock band at anaheim stadium and the studios excel in doing just that and as for the audiophile which i was once a member of that club what do they know about real music live music except for the concert hall and in that hall the best middle row seats cause if your on the sides there are all sorts of aucustic problems you encounter beats are given a bum rap because the audiophile can't tolerate real live electronic rock and roll do you know that i have never been in a room and listened to an oboe or bassoon i never cared to i want my rock to spin my ears around and rip my head off like watching peter tosh at the greek in los angeles and i want it done at any volume and on top of that beats come with a tolerable cable i have 9 pairs of phones and not one has the origional cable except for the studios two that is one cable that compliments the phones my hat goes off to beats for remembering that the cable is the path to great sound i use the samsung galaxy phone with the music player power amp of course and i am taken to wherever the producer imagines i should go with the music dont let anyone fool you i will dare to say that for 300 the origional price one will experience as close to rock reality as one can get they are well worth 300 maybe more cause i am not in the market for dull perfection lol thank you lillian ps note i did not mention looks or any of the other non audio aspects of the phones the klipsh corner horns are monstrosities but i dare one to find a more realistic alive speaker thanks
