Jd's Story
I left Minnesota in 1970 for the west coast. Except for a few sojourns East, I haven't left this coast since. I live on the edge of the wilderness that is Northern California where the giant redwoods meet the Pacific (which it seldom is, actually). We have wopping great storms and glorious sunsets here. rades.I am now retired on a fixed income and enjoy making pickled vegies and fish, a killer black olive tapenade and wild berry (blackberry and huckleberry) preserves which I sell at Farmers' Markets and various seasonal Faires and Festivals. I'm a member of a health club where I use their equipment to burn off the flab and keep my girlish figure.(Ha!)
I still write the occasional poem, essay, or letter to the editor.
