After 20 years in Princeton, NJ, Bob and I moved to Aiken, South Carolina in 1999 and bought ten acres in the country. We travel quite a bit to Florida where our daughter, Robin, and our grandson, Brendan, live. Our son, Adam, still lives in New Jersey since he was just beginning his career years when we moved. We have been driving the 600+ miles to Pittsburgh quite a bit the last few years. Bob's daughter, Tina, still lives there and both my parents were dealing with illness. We have now lost both of them so except for Tina and my sister, Diane, we don't have as much to draw us north. We love Aiken. It is a beautiful little town and even though we are not horse people, we are surrounded by horse farms, even in town. The weather is beautiful. Our average daily temperature in winter is 50 degrees. Only occassional snow and ice remind us that it is winter. The summers can be a bit oppressive but you only have to go inside to get away from it. This year we fulfille...Expand for more
