Jean's Story
Everyone thought I went off to college. My parents wanted it that way - you know "don't embarass the family" and all that. Just as well for then but it is an interesting story.
Actually I went to join the circus. Funny because clowns had always scared me. But being 18 and wanting adventure it seemed appropriate.
Had an exciting, adventurous life with the circus. We traveled to all parts of the US. It all ended abruptly one day when Zoloff the sword swallower . . . .
Maybe I better not go there.
I roamed around for a bit after that, not knowing where I wanted to put my roots down. Right about that time I met Floyd. Maybe it was his cute smile. He was always hesitant to smile though, I think it was because he was missing a couple of teeth. But I loved him in spite of his teeth. is back woods grammar. I always found it rather charming.
We settled down in a cozy little vacant lot down by the S&P in our RV. It was a great spot even though it did slope a bit. After a while we found that if we took off the wheels and set it up on old tire rims it stayed in place way better.
It's been a grand life. 24 grandchildren later we're still together. Some people say we even are starting to look like each other. I have to admit I don't have as many teeth as I use to and by golly I even have a little bald spot just like Floyd! Life doesn't get much better than that.
Jean Jean Johnson (Boyle) ok ok - maybe I exaggerated just a little to make my life look better than it really is, but who doesn't ??? Just kidding! (just because we are getting older than dirt doesn't mean we have to take ourselves so darn seriously!)
