Jean's Story
I'm still a west-coaster:
4 yrs in Corvallis (2 yrs at OSU, majoring in elem.ed. and biology).
10 years in Idaho, married to a game warden. I fished, hunted (shot a record-book cougar!), and even trapped animals & skinned pelts for 2 winters!
1 year in Portland: After we divorced and I moved back home, a fire claimed our 2 children. The grief almost claimed me. That was in '74.
15 years in Calif, 8 of those married to internationally known seascape/landscape artist, Vernon Kerr. I became a professional portrait artist. Our lives were filled with art shows, classes, and his 4 children. A skiing accident tore up ...Expand for more
my knee and knocked me out of sports. Vernon died in '82.
3 years on the road with husband #3, with a van & travel trailer, plus Thousand Trails. Our goal was to see the states. We got as far as Phoenix once, but our van broke down in Las Vegas. So did our marriage.
I've been in LV since 1991. Hot, but fun. Isn't that how you remember me? Just kidding.
As a teenager, I was shy, insecure, abused, with all the problems that arise from that. I've been on a long path of healing and spiritual development. I'm now single, but still feel that my soulmate is around the next corner. (Could that corner be Classmates?).
