Jean's Story
. My schools included Girls Latin School, Roslindale High School and Boston School of Business Education After school I worked as an Executive Secretary for Minkin Nursing Home in West Roxbury.
After having my first child in 1967, I moved to Hanson and became a "stay-at-home" Mom for my ten children. All my kids say that that was insane....and so does everyone else. LOL Having that many children was not uncommon in my family. My Mom had eight and my husband came from 10. Wow, what BIG family parties and weddings! Now I am a Grandmother of 29! My main goal in life was to be a Kindergarten teacher. Instead I had my own class....6 boys and 4 girls. Unfortunately, as they grew older, I became "Taxi Mom" for my kids and everyone else's. Unlike the city, we had to drive everywhere.

a short story? LOL We all have lived 70 years of life so far and could all, I am sure, write a book.
The reunion was a "blast"! So sorry that we couldn't have had our own and wish we could all get together again soon because time is surely going by too fast for me. Since the reunion I have broken my shoulder, foot and ruptured my Achilles tendon....all at different time. s They call me "the most frequent flyer" at South Shore Hospital Physical Therapy and tell me they hope they don't see me soon....and then they laugh. I get up every morning and pray that I don't break anything. We all are supposed to have our own guardian angel.....I think mine is resting in Heaven.
I hope someone figures out how we can get together, even if it's at a park somewhere. That would be fun! I hope everyone has a NO FALL summer........Jeannie
