Jean's Story
After I graduated I married my high school sweetheart, Chuck Rogers (Lakewood Class of 64). We had a great marriage and ended up having three great sons. Chuck had a congenital heart problem and died at age 41 when the boys were 15, 13, and 8. While I was working I went back to school for about 20 years taking one class a quarter. 33 years of federal service I am thinking of retiring. I'm not sure where I will retire to because my boys and their families are in Columbus, Maryland and LA. I may just head south and see how it is down there. I plan to do a lot of traveling and plan on really enjoying my retirement. I can't believe how fast time has flown! I don't feel old and it sure doesn't seem like it has been 43 years since I graduated from Lakewood High!!! I hope all of you reached your goals and dreams. I
