Jean's Story
I moved to San Diego right after graduation. Attended San Diego State. Met my husband, a sailor, in Sept. of 1969, but didn't have our first date until he returned from cruise in Feb. 1970. We were married in Oct. 1971. Husband attended
Univ. of Neb. and graduated in 1976. He then returned to the Navy as an officer and "we" served for 30 yrs. retiring in
2006. We've lived in San Diego, Bremerton Washington, Maryland, Spain, Puerto Rico, Scotland twice, and London.
Retired in Maryland and are still here while Bruce works for NSA. We have two wonderful kids, Jennifer is 34, grad. of ...Expand for more
Univ. of Florida. a graphic artist, and mother of 2 adorable kids, Grandson Drake is 3. Granddaughter Juni is 6mo. They live in Florida. Our son Ryan is 30. Grad. of Univ. of Maryland, a Federal Agent, is in San Diego. He married last year and just became a Dad to our Grandson William Cameron a few weeks ago. I have been fortunate to stay home and raise my children. While overseasI had a cake business, nothing big. I have had a truly blessed and adventurous life with Bruce. The places we've seen, and the people we've met! We've been married 40 yrs. and it just doesn't seem possible!
