Hello You knew me at Rocky Mount Senior High School as Bobby Harris, the driver of the 1950 Ford two door blue club sedan. Bought this car from Suttons used car lot for $395.00. Paid for it at $1.00 per hour wages at that time. I went to work in 1956 my Junior class, missed baseball season ( bummer love baseball and still do). My Shop Teacher Mr. Neal; Adkins ( Thanks Mr. Adkins for all you taught me), ask if I wanted to go to work as a machinist apprentice at Hammond Electric in Rocky Mount. I Was trained under an old retired Atlantic Coast Line railroad machinist. Married Jean Vandiford of Farmville, NC in 1958. Mack King my cousin (Farmville High School class of 1958), introduced us. Still married to the love of my life. Jean is a Farmville High School class member of 1959. We have one daughter, two twin CP Handicap grandchildren. The Boys will be 18 years old. in 2016. Worked Hammond Electric from 1956 to 1961 as a machinist , Worked Industrial Electric from 1961 till 1998 Machinist, Machine shop foreman, Service Man, Electronic Serviceman, Shop Operations Manager. Still work for Fulghum Fibres, Inc as the Director, Electrical Operations as of march , 2016. Fulghum Fibres, Inc has 28 mills scattered from Maine to Arkansas, With 7 in South America.
