Jean's Story

Life Nothing exicting. I'm married, have a daughter who is 17 and very artistic. My husband is a truck driver, 18-wheeler. We have had numerous cats. Last cat lived to be 21 yrs. old. Now we have a blk/wht cat named Sweet Georgia Brown and the new girl on the block, Cecelia, CeCe. We also have a corgi mix named Oliver and our best friends have his brother, Stanley. I am a grandma by Jim's son, Kenny. Her name is Nicole, and they live in Florida. I have worked etail most of my life except for a short stint in an Elementary school. I now work at Boston Store as a "Lead", like a manager in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, where Jim is from. I'm the former Jean Watson. Fast forward to 2008. Still live in Wauwatosa. My little girl will be 21 in January, how did that happen. My parent's now live here and are both in a nursing home nearby. I stopped working retail because of my back. I would like to find something to work at, but with the economy the way it is, the jobs are not plentiful right now. I just joined Classmates. com and am excited to start contacting people from school. We will be on LI for Thanksgiving and in Florida for Christmas to see our grandaughter by my husband's son and wife. I will find a good picture and I will post it, now/then. Jeannie now 2009 Liz is 21 and newly engaged to Eric, nickname, Fox and we love him very much. My Mom died on Liz's birthday, January 31st this yesr. Grieving terribly. She was my best friend. Jim and I will be on LI for Thanksgiving this year. Liz is spending it in Michigan with Fox's family. I guess you could say I retired from retail. I just couldn't stand anymore. I have a bad back and retail has made it worse...Expand for more
. I will be having gall stones removed on Nov. 9th. I do babysit for a two yr. old on Tuesday and Thursday and I love it. He's such a good child. Jim is still working, but partially retired. He has a Honda Hleix Scooter and we do go for rides and he belongs to the Rustic Riders Scooter Club and they go out every Sunday in the nice weather. That's about it for the time being. I'd really be interested in a reunion if anyone knows of any plans for one. Jeannie April 2010 We have just had another little girl born into our family. My nephew and his wife just had another little girl, 3 for them now and we were there this past week to see her born. How exciting! Now, more news, we will have a grandaughter in August. Liz is 6 mos. pregnant and having a girl. She will be my first grandaughter although I have three other granddaughters by my husbands children. Now we have between great-nieces and grandaughters, 11 girls and soon to be 12 girls!!! Power to the women!!! We are very excited about the our new granddaughter coming in August. That's the update on my family. Jeannie April 2011 Yes, we had a little girl on August 11,2010. What a darling she is! I feel as if I have a whole new life now. Sadly though, my Father died on March 13th this year. He was 91 and in chronic kidney faliure. It was too emotional every timw I went to see him. He was buried at Pinelawn Cementary in the family plot. Now they are both gone and I have a one in my being. I am glad that he is no longer in pain though. That is all the news I have to add. I only hope everyone the best and good times with your families. Time goes too fast. Make the most of it. Jean Watson Brown
