Jean's Story
I guess you could say my life is a little bit different from all of you "married with kids"....
I'm currently living on the South Shore of Long Island (Merrick) with my Partner Andrea since 2001 (I "realized" and "came out" in the mid-90's). We have a beagle, a cocker spaniel, 2 cats and an african grey bird, they of course are our "children".
Andrea and I are very "family oriented" so we spend alot of time with our sisters and their children - I have 3 nieces and 2 nephews and she has 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Every sum...Expand for more
mer we have an annual "Family" BBQ Pool Party where both families mingle at our house for some fun in the sun.
I work in midtown Manhattan as a Wordprocessing Supervisor for a medium sized public accounting firm. I've been with the firm since 2002 and love it (except for the commute on the LIRR)!Previous to that I worked at Ernst & Young for almost ten years.
Prior to that - from 1989 to 1993 I lived in Phoenix, Arizona. But being so young and living so far away, I missed my family and moved back to good old New York.
