Jean's Story
After high school, went to Long Beach State for 1 year. In '71 started working with Pacific Bell, and got married. 1974 had my daughter and in 1976 had my son. With AT&T Divesture in 1984, transfered to AT&T (my years went with me), because we wanted to move out of CA. While on CA, lived in West Covina, La Puente, and Ontario. In 1990, moved to NJ (Flemington). In 1994 was divorced. Now, this is may be the shocker, met and fell in love with a woman. Yes, I am a lesbian, realized I had been all along. Moved to Hillsborough NJ in 1994. We had a committment ceremony in 1997. From 2004-2006, was a volunteer EMT with the Hillsborough Rescue Squad. ool and became a Licensed Pratical Nurse. Worked for 9 more years, and now retired as of November 2015. In 2007, when NJ allowed Civil Unions, we had our official "wedding" and I then changed my last name to Warren (took my wife’s last name). On October 22, 2013 we were legally married, finally.! In 2019, I became a certified Marriage Officiant, I also Officiated the marriage of our granddaughter and her new wife in October 2019. The next year, they wanted us to move down to North Carolina. We packed up, put our home up for sale and moved to North Carolina. Love the south. Love the ocean, love our pool, love everything here in the south. l am a grandmother, one grandson (10/3/07). So that is my life after high school.
