Jean's Story
Well, I graduated in January of 1973, went onto FJC. Didn't go into a field I liked plus got married in December, so I quit. Didn't seriously go to college until I was 36 yrs old.
I have two children, a son, Matthew (33) and a daughter, Kristina (28). I have two wonderful grandchildren, Carson (8) and Annabell (6). I am fortunate enough to spend many hours with them. They keep me young.
I had numerous jobs thru the years, lucky to have two careers. Almost fourteen years in law enforcement, yes I worked the streets...Expand for more
, and eight in respiratory care. Who would have thought I would suck snot.
I am now medically retired, having a ten year time frame of treatment, gaining well over two hundred pounds, I have now lost over 150 with a few more to go. WOW! Plus no more medicine for me. I enjoy such passions as painting, quilting, clay and wood carving. I also still sing having been in many bands and choirs over the years.
I love to travel with Wayne (spouse) whom I have been married for almost 36 years. That is about it in a nutshell.
