Jean's Story
Met my SO, Jerry Lichtenwald, in 1975 in the Dells. He's originally from Fond du Lac. We've been together every since. No kids. I've worked for the Insurance Commissioner's Office since October of 1979. Jerry works for Benson's (high end patio furniture, hot tubs, etc.) as a sales rep. We're both thinking of retiring in the next five years.
Presently we own a condo on Madison's west side. We've been there for 16 years.
We've traveled, been to Florida a few times, Arizona (Grand Canyon) and Mexico. Took a cruise ship from Miami to Mexico (first time playing slots)....Expand for more
Didn't win much, but it was fun!
We enjoy going out for dinner and seeing movies at the Sundance Theater here in Madison.
Just to add something recent. November 24, 2009, I had my left hip replaced. Since Jerry and I like to travel, it should be interesting! My surgeon is going to give me some type of written documentation to take with me when we fly. I guess I can see how many metal detectors I can set off! At least I'll have something I can show the TSA personnel. Other than that, I've had the good fortune to be mostly healthy. Hope everyone else has too!
