Jeanetta's Story
Life
Hi out there, Life is certainly never what we planned. I have buried a son, and 2 husbands. But life goes on and you survive. I have been fortunate in that I have lived in 2 other counties. Spent time in Europe, could live in Italy or France at the drop of a hat!!. The highest point of my life was the Pope's blessing in St. Peter's Square on Christmas Day of 2003. I have 4 children, all married, 6 grandchildren. I have such unhappy memories of Forest Lake Academy. BUt there were a number of people (students) that did make life bearable the 2 two years I was there. I do hope that I shall be able to touch base with those on here. I am now living in Texarkana, Ar. I love it here. It is a slower pace and very little traffic! I worked doing accounting for a number of years and after losing 2nd husband , began volunteering with the Red Cross. I spent over 4 years on Nati...Expand for more
onal Disasters. After 9/11 I reached a burn out period, and I now do volunteer work here on a local level. I have family in Ft. Worth (3 hours away) and spent a lot of time visiting them. I do hope that I shall be able to connect with some of you.
I am now in the process of moving to Hawaii. And then to who knows where. I do love to travel and find new experiences! Hope that the rest of you have had a wonderful life past Forest Lake. Well, I have now buried a third husband. After Jim passed the kids wanted me to move to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I did not want to move here, M y heart is in Italy. But as last year was such a very forgettable year with no flights anywhere….. For the time being I am here. This has been written over a long period. I really have lost touch with everyone. It would be nice to have some way of at least corresponding with y’all!!!
