Jeanette's Story
Life
Now a widow. My husand, Joe, passed away September 25, 2005 after suffering with lung cancer. We had a wonderful life together and I miss him terribly.
My Kids
Tammy, now 43, has one daughter - Heidi, who is now 19. Tammy's husband, Richard White, also graduated from Edgewood High School. His Uncle - Johnny White - is who I had a mad crush on in H.S. for those who remember. They have a real happy family life. Heidi graduated from E.H.S. with honors (takes after her Grandma -- ha ha). Son - Donny is now 37 and lives in New York City (Manhattan). Works with web designs for large compnay. I'm very proud of both of them.
Career:

retirement - effective 1/1/2002.
Joe and I own a vacation home in Deerfield Beach, Fla. and I'm trying to sell it, or rent it year around. It's hard maintaining two houses - both physically for a woman, and financially since Joe died. I want to travel more and have fun while I'm still healthy and active.
Starting to look into condo living (maybe Bulle Rock), but want a place that's VERY active (pools, exercise rooms, tennis, golf (haven't taken up golf yet - but 6 brothes & sisters are bugging me) - thus Bulle Rock in Havre de Grace. We'll see!!! Joe and I built a new home in Abingdon in 2003 (Carriage house), and it's also too big for me now. But I love it, so I'm not quick to make any decisions.
