Jeanette's Story
The past 48 years since high school have flown by in a flash. After 28 years of marriage I found myself back in McAllen selling real estate and have loved every minute of it. If I have to be working at this stage of my life I can't imagine doing anything I would enjoy more. During that time I lived in San Marcos for 12 years and then Seguin where the kids all grew up and graduated.
I have found that contact with old high school friends has been rewarding in that they remember you as you once were when we were all a little more carefree and spontaneous.
I have three beautiful children who have blessed me in so many ways. Shane and Bryan have degrees from A & M and are both builders. My daughter, Rhonda, the youngest,...Expand for more
has a degree in marketing from Southwest Texas in San Marcos and now lives in San Antonio where she does marketing for a home health agency. The one thing I regret the most is not having a college degree so it was never an option for them to not obtain one.
The only thing missing at this point of my life is someone special to share it with. I believe we were all meant to have someone in our lives - love and laughter truly are the best medicine.
I spend much of my spare time doing Pilates, reading, as much time as I can with my children who live in San Antonio and Prosper north of Dallas, continuing my education in real estate (you can never know enough) and with local family and friends.
