Jeanette's Story
My husband Ned (West Babylon Class of '66) and I have lived in Florida for over 40 years now, we lived in North Carolina while he was in the Marine Corp and after he got out we moved back to Long Island (Bayshore) before moving to Fort Lauderdale, FL. We moved to Fort Pierce, FL in 1981 and have been here ever since. Have one son and a granddaughter who are living in Orlando, FL. I worked for the City of Fort ...Expand for more
Pierce, as the Deputy City Clerk, and retired September 18, 2015. Still go up to Long Island every December to get into the Christmas spirit because no matter how long we live here can't get use to Christmas here (just not the same as up North). Just love to drive around Long Island remembering all the old places. Can not believe how many West Babylon graduates live in Florida, over the years have run into a few.
