Jeanette's Story
Life
Five children and thirteen grandchildren later...here I am. I started working at El Camino Hospital shortly after graduation and stayed there 10 years where I met my husband. We have now been married 40 years and have much to be grateful. I hope the same is true for any who read this and also hope to someday again see or hear from old friends and share stories. Our youngest son completed 4 years in the navy and has returned home and this year is pursuing his doctorate at URI. Our eldest son graduated from San Jose state, worked in Alaska tourism and is currently a teacher in Japan. Our daughters have given us an arm load of grandchildren. ll looking for JoAnn Leben. Stockton is home.
I have had a chance to see some of the world and hope to see more in retirement.
Love Provence, Paris, Nice, Tuscany, Venice, Florence, Rome, Costa Rica, but mostly love that I was born in the USA.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel everything and add on a bedroom or two. My dream home would be a ranch style.
What I've learned from my kids is that I did a decent job as a parent.
If I won $100 million, I'd give a lot of it to my church, then spend the rest on family, charities and travel.
I share my home with grandchildren, which I find keeps me going.
In 10 years, I hope to be 73. I'm going to get there by staying alive!, staying alive!.
